JESSICA DE LEON-DELFIN | Makeup + Brows + Waxing
Originally from Wisconsin, Jessica Delfin's (formerly De Leon) passion for hair began at an early age. She enthusiastically relocated to NYC in 1998 where she spent the next 10 years living and working as a stylist. During this time Jessica created a legacy of hair design from educator to NYC runways to fashion and beauty magazine covers, including Mademoiselle and Victoria’s Secret, among others.
In 2008, she returned for a 5-year plus stint in the Midwest. During this time, Jessica remained unfailingly devoted to her SBS clients to whom she returned on a revolving 6-week schedule. Now back in NYC to stay, she is a resident SBS hairdresser once again and new mother.
She says, “Each client inspires me in a different way. I might get a new idea for their hair from something they are wearing, their personality or in ways that have trickled into my consciousness throughout the years. Listening to their lives enlightens me with endless perspectives and words of wisdom.”
Jessica is communicative, personable and proficient in all things hair. She considers her specialties to be relaxers, curly hair, men’s hair, and styling. However, she says cutting hair is her real beauty super power discovered over 18 years ago.
